Information on Speeding Tickets from the Town of Old Fort

In 1992 the City passed ordinance #216 which set a fine of $75 for speeding in Old Fort. The state of North Carolina suggested a speed limit of 20 miles per hour, the Town aldermen believed that was too low and changed it to 30 miles per hour. In doing this the fine of $100 for speeding became a violation of a town Ordinance which does not count against your Insurance or License record. Payment will be made to the Town of Old Fort City Hall at 44 S. Catawba Ave, using cash, certified check or money order. No credit or debit cards are accepted.
